President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov presented 10 new ambulances to the children's departments of hospitals in the Balkan velayat. This happened during the working trip of the head of state to the region.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stopped in the city of Balkanabat at the city’s Emergency Ambulance Center, where he was greeted by health workers. Noting that caring for the health of the people, and especially the younger generation, is a priority of the state policy of Turkmenistan, the leader of the nation announced the decision to transfer, from the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assisting Children in Need of Care, 10 new ambulances for pediatric departments’ hospitals in the region. The head of state presented to the Minister of Health and Medical Industry the keys to new special vehicles equipped with modern specialized equipment.

On behalf of the health care workers, the leader of the nation was grateful for the care of young citizens of the country and support in modernizing the material and technical base of domestic medicine.

Having talked with the doctors, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed confidence that the new ambulances will be a good support for them in their work.
