On the occasion of the 130th anniversary of the birth of Mikhail Afanasyevich Bulgakov, the immersive performance “Bulgakov”, prepared by the actors of the “ARTist” theater, was held with great success at the Russian House at the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Turkmenistan. The performance includes bright fragments from three of the most famous works by Mikhail Bulgakov: "Heart of a Dog", "Zoykina's Apartment" and "The Master and Margarita".

Immersion theater performance in Ashgabat was held for the first time. And given that Bulgakov himself was a great mystifier and experimenter, there is some symbolism in the fact that this unconventional and original theater was based on his works.

The Immersion Theater is one of the most modern types of theatrical art. The word "immersion" means "immersion" in English. That is, the audience becomes simultaneously participants in the production, they are not present in the hall, but on the same site with the actors, they can freely move around the stage space and even enter into a dialogue with literary characters.

We must pay tribute to the actors - they played with great enthusiasm. An excellent cast made the play "Bulgakov" unforgettable: Tatiana Ovezmuradova (Professor Preobrazhensky), Rishat Kanibetov (Sharikov), Anush Potarak (Zoika), Maria Durdyeva (Alla), Nina Supanko (Margarita), Igor Annaklychev (Master), Vasily Andronov Woland).

The experiment was a success, the audience got great pleasure from Bulgakov's heroes, who came to life literally a stone's throw from them.
