Last Sunday, many Ashgabat residents and guests of the capital spent a fun unforgettable family vacation in the Botanical Garden. This Sunday there was held a fair of exclusive handicrafts prepared by the skillful hands of Turkmen craftsmen - "Handmade".

The fair is compactly located on the alley closest to the entrance, in the shade of spreading relict trees. It began with a master class for boys painting plaster figures and girls making bracelets from beads. And on the contrary, a line of little fashionistas lined up, wishing to put face painting on their face - a trendy cosmetic detail of our time.

At this fair, miracles were met at every step. For example, Luiza Sabitova, speaking with her jewelry collection, presented a novelty - a fan. Louise made it double-sided, with elements of national patterns, but the most interesting thing is that she decorated the top of the fan with peacock feathers - well, like a fan of a padishah!

Children gathered at the collection of knitted dolls, who vied with each other to guess the characters from the cartoons: "Booba brownie!" from the cartoon of the same name, Michael Vazovsky from Monsters University, The Little Mermaid from Ariel, Checkered Zebra, etc. Galina Rozhkova is an engineer by profession, but being at home looking after a child, she became addicted to watching cartoons with her daughter. It was then that the idea arose to knit cute cartoon characters from colored threads. And it turned out surprisingly well!

- I want the same bracelet as my friend's! - the visitor asked Natalya Kalugina.

- These are already sold out. But I can do it on the go if you have time to wait a bit, and if not, grab a business card and come to the workshop. By the way, I invented the clasp for the bracelet myself and called it "Emancipation", because such a clasp does not require help from others.

A large box with bracelets at a symbolic price - 5 manats a piece - attracted the girls like a magnet.

There is a crowd of people by the pool with water lilies. “Here's one! And one more!" - the children shouted vying with each other, looking into the water. Freshwater turtles swam to the edge of the pool, then hid in the foliage of the water lilies. They seemed to be flirting with visitors, amusing them with their tricks.

Meanwhile, one of the riders from among the young visitors was making circles along the alleys of Botаnical garden on horseback, tapping his hooves on the asphalt. Other children with their parents stood in line to ride the colorful phaeton.

Those who had an appetite in nature were expected in a cafe. The influx of visitors that day was extremely high. Family Sunday holidays have become enjoyable for both children and their parents.
