The picture of the People’s Artist of Turkmenistan Yevgeniya Adamova “Irises” opens a spring exposition. It is remarkable that brushes of this remarkable artist are peculiar the big subject canvases, and still life including “Irises” are beaten out from the general outline of her creativity. Nevertheless, the organizers of an exhibition have stopped their choice on this work, most figuratively reproducing the harmony of spring transformation.

Flower theme is continued by the picture “Lilac” by the People’s Artist of Turkmenistan Yarly Bayramov executed in style of impressionism. Within long years of creativity, to a skilled hand of the gifted artist was dependently many, and “Lilac” - the regular confirmation of it. The most remembered landscapes – “Sumbar” by Babamurat Muhammedov, “the Birth of spring” by Kakabay Gullayev, “Sunny day” by Valentin Kudryashov.

Sculptures of small forms, in particular, "Musician" by Ieda Magatov and "Dances" by Djuma Djumadurdyev have harmoniously replenished a picturesque collection.

Peculiarity of the present exposition is that the majority of works are written specially on the occasion of holiday that gives the chance to masters of a brush to look at own creativity through a prism of spectator perception.

The special attention attracts a cloth of "Zohre" by spouses Gunch and Azat Muradovs that have depicted a fragment of “Zohre and Tahir” destan. Artists have portrayed a scene of writing the letter to Mahym’s father, cunningly tending to achieve the permission for wedding with Tahir. Although, there is no Zohre among characters of picturesque interpretation, a love theme of Zohre and Tahir acts as a subject basis of given work. The co-authorship in painting itself is a very rare phenomenon. Especially, in our case - co-authorship of man and a woman, two bright creative natures working in different picturesque technics.

- If we, me and my husband are co-authors, it does not mean that there are two brushes in one work: he writes at the left, and me - on the right, - answers Guncha Muradova. - Using musical concepts, I would tell that he is a composer, and I am a musician. The surroundings of a magnificent palace, a proscenium, a garden on a background - belong to his brush, heroes were painted by me. During work over a picture we often argued. He insisted, that I write characters more densely, and I wanted to keep lightness, in order to strengthen the shades of grace and tenderness.

On another work presented at the exposition of Guncha Muradova, "Gulshat" we see a young modern woman depicted in an easy air manner. It is her author's manner, in which the refined emotionality of artist and lyricism of her technics is visible.

It is remarkable that simultaneously with spring exposition devoted to Novruz holiday, two more exhibitions are developed at the State museum of fine arts of Turkmenistan: first - artists Tamara Kiseleva - our compatriot, another one is of Paula Moderzon-Bekera and artists Vorpsvede, organized by the Embassy of Germany in Ashgabad and the Ministry of culture of Turkmenistan. Such educational activity of museum experts does a great honor for them.
