On behalf of President of Turkmenistan, Vice-Premier responsible for culture visited Maya Kuliyeva, People's Artist who is currently under treatment in one of the medical centers in Ashgabat. Vice Premier, on behalf of the Leader of the nation wished a speedy recovery.
The Head of state Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov always put great attention and support artists, with special awe and respect referring to coryphaeus of Turkmen Art, whose invaluable contribution to the development of national culture contributed to its glorification not only within the country, but also outside of it.
Speaking of the tasks of state policy in the sphere of culture, the Leader of the nation has consistently stressed the importance to refer to the experienced artists. As a connoisseur of deep traditions and rich heritage of Turkmen culture, a subtle connoisseur of fine art, the Leader of the state particularly noted importance of succession of school, thanks to the national culture retaining its identity in all its generous diversity.
On the initiative and under the patronage of the President of Turkmenistan, the Turkmen opera revived and founded the State Symphony Orchestra of Turkmenistan. It was realized the unique cultural project of a joint Turkmen-Austrian Symphony Orchestra "Galkynysh".
The best art specialists and professionals of the country were involved in production of restored and new opera performances. A chief adviser, the famous lead singer of the Turkmen opera - Maya Kuliyeva created a gallery of wonderful images of a big music scene, having won the sincere love, prestige and honor.
In 2009, according to the Decree of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Maya Kuliyeva, People's artist was conferred the title Hero of Turkmenistan, and was awarded a gold medal «Altyn Aý» for proficiency and outstanding service for her Homeland, and for invaluable contribution to the Turkmen art. Later, in December 2015 Maya Kuliyeva was awarded the jubilee medal of Turkmenistan «Garaşsyz, Baky Bitarap Türkmenistan».
In 2007 Maya Kuliyeva became a laureate of the contest «Türkmeniň Altyn Asyry». She was nominated the award of President of Turkmenistan, who was honored for mentoring work, and educating young art workers, and a long term creative and diligent work.

We should and must learn the life from her. After all, such people are our heritage; heritage is not only the past, but also the present and the future.
