The overall experience of the teachers of the Materov family, living in Yordepe village of Murgap district of Mary velayat, is over 350 years. Twenty of them now chosen a path between their home and school, doing the noble work, that brought them respect and fortune. Three generation of this family has been working shoulder to shoulder in the secondary school No15 of the village.
The education workers, who often assemble to listen to the useful conversations, inspired speeches of the head of the Materov family, the Honored employee of education of Turkmenistan, poet Ovezgeldi Materov, invited him in a capacity of the new accepted title “Honorary elder of Turkmenistan” to the recently organized solemn meeting. The grateful pupils and colleagues congratulated the mentor and talked about his career and work.
The value of award increases when it is presented to those who is really worth. The fact that on the eve of the 30th anniversary of independence of Turkmenistan, by the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan, Ovezgeldi Materov, among others, was included in the list of the “Honorary elder of Turkmenistan”, made happy his students, colleagues and society. The mentor Ovezgeldi, who has been teaching for 53 years, filled the hearts of thousands of pupils with honesty, love and enthusiasm, and performs a great mission of teacher: “Sow wisdom, sow the good, the eternal”
The People’s teacher of Turkmenistan Begenchmyrat (Umur) Esenov was an ardent disciple and colleague of O. Materov, and early became a tutor.
His chest bemedaled “Excellent worker of public education of Turkmenistan”, “Honored employer of education of Turkmenistan”. For a long time, he holds a place of honour among the mentors, who gives blessing to the young specialists beginning the teaching profession in Murgab etrap.
There are many teachers who obtains support of the mentor Ovezgeldi Materov not only in his etrap, but in different corners of Turkmenistan. Because for dozens of years he regularly writes for almost all newspapers and magazines in our country as a methodologist, innovator, mentor. His creative work is many-sided and perfect. The interesting news, op-ed articles, sketches glorifying the working people, poems praising the successes of our Independent, permanent Neutral country, and policy implemented by the Hero-Arkadag sound as the voice of the tender heart of the mentor and aspirational messaging.
Most of the student news and articles published in the wall newspapers of the school where the mentor works pass through the “Bag of Inspiration” created and curated by Ovezgeldi. The old teacher takes the time to carefully read and discuss these letters, and to meet and discuss them with their authors.
On these days the mentor is invited to the meeting with the personel of schools, different organizations and enterprises of Mary velayat. The Honorary elder of Turkmenistan Ovezgeldi Materov, minds his affairs and calls the people to feel the dignity of our Independent and permanent Neutral Motherland, and to promote its prosperity by their honest and hard work, and support the policy of our President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, which is in conformity with the interests of the country and the world.
