The Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan invites to participate in a creative competition called "Bairam Khan Turkmen - an outstanding poet, statesman and diplomat."

Students, undergraduates, teachers of universities of the country, as well as secondary school teachers, graduate students, researchers under the age of 30 can take part in the competition. The task of the contestants is to write a scientific article on one of the following topics: "Bayram khan Turkmen - an outstanding poet, philosopher" and "Bayram khan Turkmen - statesman and diplomat".

Authors' articles and articles written in co-authorship in Turkmen, Russian and English languages are accepted for the creative review. The work should fit into the volume of 5-10 pages of A4 format with line spacing of 1.5. TimesNewRoman font size 14 is preferred. The finished article must be sent to the IMO MFA at the email address hgi.hgddek. @ Online.tm by February 1, 2022. The work submitted for the competition must not have been previously published on web sites. Additional information about the competition is available on the website of the organizing university.

For each category of participants, the jury will decide on three prizes. The winners and prize-winners will be awarded with Diplomas of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. And their works will get a chance to be published in the journal "Foreign Policy and Diplomacy of Turkmenistan" of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country. The best articles will also be posted on the official website of the organizing university. The awards ceremony for the winners and prize-winners of the competition will take place on February 18, 2022 on the occasion of the celebration of the Day of the Diplomatic Worker of Turkmenistan.

A little about the topic of the competition, which was not accidentally chosen by the university, which trains highly qualified specialists in international affairs - diplomats, journalists, called in the future to adequately represent and protect the interests of Turkmenistan abroad.

Outstanding military leader, talented poet and diplomat Muhammad Bayram Khan Turkmen is a well-known, greatest personality of the 16th century, who left a worthy mark in the history of national diplomacy and the formation of the state of the Turkmen people. Bayram Khan has made great strides in strengthening peace, preventing wars and establishing good relations between states. For his unparalleled feats, brilliant achievements, patriotism, he was awarded the title "Khan of all khans". The poet's literary heritage is an invaluable contribution to the global treasury of poetry.

As the Dear President of Turkmenistan emphasizes, the great commander and poet Bayram Khan Turkmen, who came out of the people, accomplished great deeds with the power of pen and word, was the defender of the interests of the people and justice. Exaltation of the name and merits of Bayram Khan, who glorified the spiritual world of the Turkmens to the whole world with imperishable verses, in a new historical era of the revival of our society is our sacred duty.

The creative competition, announced by the Higher School of Diplomacy, is held with the aim of popularizing, promoting, studying the cultural heritage of Bayram Khan, his diplomatic skill, strategy and tactics, the principles of which underlie modern international relations. Among the important motives of the competition is also the education of young people in the spirit of respect and love for their ancestors and the great history of our country.
