Deputy-chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan on security, military and legal issues, Secretary of the State Security Council, Ch.Amanov took part in the IX meeting of the secretaries of security councils of the CIS member-states, held in Moscow.
The participants discussed the cooperation on security, migration issues and problems related to the development of biotechnologies.
«On occasion of the 30th anniversary of the CIS the leaders of our countries adopted the Declaration, where it was stressed, that the goals and principles stated in the charter documents of the Commonwealth continue to be relevant, reflect in full the modern development trends of the international relations», – said in his opening speech Sergey Lebedev, Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee, stating that the provision of security, internal and international stability remain among the unanimous interests of the primary targets of the Commonwealth.
Calling attention of the participants to the topic of interaction in the field of migration, Sergey Lebedev emphasized, that the Declaration on development of such cooperation was adopted in the Summit of CIS Heads of States, aimed at the establishment of the clear administrative procedures required for entrance, exit, stay and employment of citizens in the territories of the Commonwealth member-states.
