«Altyn Asyr» from Ashgabat closed the gap to two points with the leader «Ahal» in the Turkmenistan Football Championship. This has become known as a result of seventh round.

In the final match of the first tournament circuit, «Ahal» missed points in the away game against «Merv», having let slip a winning position 2 minute before the end of normal time. The goal from the penalty in the 3^rd minute of Arslanmurad Amanov countered by the football players form Mary with the well-placed shot of Amangeldy Saparov (88^th minute), and the game was drawn – 1:1.

«Altyn Asyr», which gained an advantage of local «Nebitchi» in Balkanabat– 2:1, profited in this round by mistake of the Turkmenistan vice-champion, which 4-matches winning streak is over. Noteworthy is that during the meeting the current champion of Turkmenistan lost 0:1 after well-placed shot of Alibek Abdurahmanov in the 23^rd minute. But after a short time, the team of the «Turkmenaragatnashyk» Agency could not only win back, but also came from behind due to efforts of Begmurad Bayov (27^th minute) and Merdan Muhadov (34^th minute).

After this game «Altyn Asyr» with 15points raised to second table position. Turkmenbashi’s «Shagadam», with 14 points, moved down to the third table position, which couldn’t win in this round the capital team «Ashgabat» – 1:1. After first half the seasiders lost – 0: after shot of Kurbangeldy Sahedov in the 15^th minute. But in the 57^th minute Kerim Hojaberdiyev won back goal and saved from losing the bronze prize winner of the last year tournament.

The first victory in the finish of first circle won the finalist of the Turkmenistan Cup, «Kopetdag», having gained an advantage in the central arena of the multi-purpose stadium “Ashgabat” of «Energetik» from Mary – 4:1. Bahtiyar Gurgenov (8^th minute), Begench Akmamedov (12^th), Elyas Akiyev (72^nd) and Yakshisahed Dovletgeldiyev (90+30) shined in the team of MIA of Turkmenistan. In the loser’s team Garly Garlyev (55^th) shot the consolidation goal.

This victory allowed «Kopetdagу» with 7 points to rise to the fourth table position. «Energetik» with 4 points takes last place.

 Matches of the 8^th round of Turkmenistan championship on football will be on 26 November. On that day will play «Merv» – «Shagadam», «Nebitchi» – «Ahal», «Energetik» – «Altyn Asyr», «Ashgabat» – «Kopetdag».
