The Russian language competition will unite the  students from Turkmenistan and the CIS countries

"The Russian language is the language of interethnic communication and diplomacy" - this is the name of the competition among students of Turkmenistan and the CIS countries, announced by the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country. The competition is timed to coincide with the Day of Diplomatic Workers of Turkmenistan, which is annually celebrated in the country on February 18.

Students studying in the specialty "International Relations" can take part in the competition. Applications for participation indicating the name, university and specialty are accepted by e-mail hgi.ddkafedra@online.tm until January 15, 2022.

Participants are encouraged to write an essay on the topic "Preventive Diplomacy" in Russian. The work should fit into the volume of 2.5-3 pages of A4 format with 1.5 line spacing and using the TimesNewRoman font size 14. In addition, the tasks of the contestants include the preparation of videos about famous landmarks of their country.

In addition to the work, you must attach a brief information about yourself: name, country, university, autobiography, phone number, email address and a 3x4 photo. Futher - send to the above address.

Among the main criteria by which the works of the participants will be evaluated are the skills of speaking and writing, knowledge of vocabulary and grammar, and a creative approach.

The best connoisseurs of the Russian language, talented and capable, creatively gifted participants - winners and prize-winners of the competition will receive diplomas and awards, which will be presented during the solemn ceremony on the occasion of the Day of Diplomatic Workers of Turkmenistan.

The competition is held within the framework of the implementation of national concepts for the development of the digital education system and the improvement of teaching foreign languages in Turkmenistan. The linguistic review is designed to strengthen international university interaction and expand ties in the field of education through information and communication technologies, to increase student interest in learning Russian as a language of interethnic communication and one of the official languages of the UN.
