In 2021 agricultural year over 47 thousand 600 ton of rice was gathered from total 10 thousand 200 hectares of field, sown with rice, in the velayat.

The planting of this important crop, which requires a large amount of water, from planting to harvesting, in every corner of Lebap province, surrounded by the Amudarya river, entrusting land to the experienced farmers, care for in accordance with the requirements of agrotechnics, created all conditions for the heavy crop. Organized arrangement of harvesting, use in full the powerful machinery, allowed to gather the heavy crop of rice without losses and in time.
