On the eve of New Year's holidays, the Main Drama Theater of Turkmenistan opened the theater season with the performance "Indian Legends". This performance can be called a long-liver in the theater's repertoire, thanks to its humanistic message, bright colors and musicality inherent in the culture of the Indian people.

The playwright of the play "Indian Legends" Akhmed Kurbannepesov has combined several wise Indian parables in one story. According to its plot, one padishah, who cared about the morality of his subjects, gave the task to his close associate to find out whether there are educated people from poor families and ill-mannered people from the rich in his country, and at the same time to check whether his nobles use their power for their own enrichment.

And the one close to the padishah found three such people, and he identified the ill-mannered of the rich in his wife. The play is about the fact that in order to become a good person, you do not need special conditions, you just have to be such a person from birth.

In this parody performance, there are many witty jokes that constantly caused laughter in the audience. In addition, beautiful women's outfits and incomparable Indian dances, and the choreographer Taisiya Aliyeva, "made" almost all the heroes of this funny story dance. And Indian choreography with its charming gestures and spontaneity of performers brought lightness and animation to the performance.

The play "Indian Legends" directed by Eziz Ishankuliev raised the festive mood of the public on New Year's Eve with its fun. This was facilitated by the cast, which included Dilshat Melyaeva, Shemshat Kosymova, Batyr Charyev, Orazgeldy Durdyev, Azat Dibarov.

Production designer Maksat Amangylydzhov created an Indian entourage on the stage, which allowed the audience to temporarily "move" to a distant country where the events shown by the actors took place.
