In the framework of the International Textile Exhibition in Ashgabat it was carried out the traditional contest titled «Çeper eller» ( "Skilful hands"), which ends today.

The best author's model is selected in the categories "Collection of evening dresses", "Collection of casual clothes", "Collection of Clothes for Participants of the V Asian Indoor Games and Martial Arts."


The main task of the contest is to support and promote creative pursuit of fashion designers, working closely with traditional skilled workers who know and apply the ancient secrets of silk manufacturing, patterned weaving, hand-made embroidery and ornamental decoration.

The reviving folk theme in modern fashion sounds sublime and noble. Boldly using their imagination, designers develop national costumes to be functional and technologically advanced, largely preserving its classic originality.

The winners of the contest were honored by valuable gifts and prizes.
