The Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country hosted a conference dedicated to a new poem by President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov entitled «My homeland, Turkmenistan!».

The event was attended by representatives of the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the Institute of State, Law and Democracy, the Institute of the Caspian Sea, as well as members of the faculty and students of the IMO, national media.

Within the framework of the conference, speeches were made by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan R. Meredov, Executive Secretary of the National Commission for UNESCO in Turkmenistan Ch. Rustemova, Director of the Institute of State, Law and Democracy Y. Nuryev, Rector of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country J. Gurbangeldyev and other representatives of the university.

The speakers noted that the new poem of the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov «My homeland, Turkmenistan!», Sounded on New Year's Eve, became a wonderful holiday gift for the entire Turkmen people for the new year 2022 under the motto «Epoch of people with Arkadag».

Speaking about the content of the work of the head of state, it was noted that the poem describes the high achievements and victories of Turkmenistan in strengthening peace, friendship and brotherhood, establishing good trusting relationships between states, aimed at achieving international stability and security. In this context was especially noted the high importance of the idea of the President of the country on the formation of the Global Initiative «Dialogue – a guarantee of peace».

As the participants especially emphasized, the poetic work of the leader of the nation sounds like an inspiring parting word to the people of Turkmenistan, which inspires the people to new grandiose achievements and successes in the name of the prosperity and well-being of their beloved Motherland.

At the end of the conference, its participants adopted an Appeal to President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, in which they expressed deep gratitude and sincere gratitude for the wonderful gift to the people for the New Year 2022 and wished them further creative success, good health and longevity.
