The announcement of the slogan "The era of the people with Arkadag" by 2022 caused creative activity among Turkmen artists. Museums, exhibition centers and art galleries have organized exhibitions of paintings.

A wonderful painting by Tavus Mammadova "We walk at the speed of horses" opened the exhibition in the capital's Exhibition Center. The picture is made in a symbolic style and conveys the run of five Akhal-Teke horses rushing forward. The horses organically fit into the main city of the country, and the expression of their running symbolizes the rapid development of the economy and politics of Turkmenistan. Another well-known slogan - "Forward, only forward, my beloved Motherland Turkmenistan!" - would be quite suitable for this work for the title.

Parahat Ilbaev's painting “Turkmenian Girl” goes well with this work. The artist depicted a beautiful girl in national jewelry. Openwork silver gupba pendants cover the long braids of the beauty, the brooch of the reveler looks great on the Turkmen national dress, but most of all the visitors of the exhibition capture the happy radiant smiling eyes of the owner of these jewelry.

Parahat Ilbaev is the author of another painting "My friend", exhibited here. This is a lyrical, very touching story about how a girl treats a foal with sugar, which was recently born, but has already become the best friend for the girl.

The blue cool waters of the Caspian separate us, or rather the artist Atajan Redzhepov, from the resort town of Avaza, where you can relax, improve your health, enjoy the sea and comfort. Avaza beckons like a mirage, promising unforgettable moments spent on its beautiful shore. Even the birds, having seen the white marble architectural beauty in the distance, head to visit this cozy place.

An attractive painting by Gulshat Annamuradova "Steppes of the Karakum" was painted in a decorative style. Five and a half camels (half is a foal) march sedately and peacefully along the sands of the Karakum. In the light of the rising sun, they cast a shadow consisting of five and a half camels. Velvety shades of pastel colors add charm to the work. The picture is reminiscent of the Great Silk Road, when camel caravans in the same line, loaded with exotic overseas goods, traveled across the endless sands.

The artist Keramaz Amataev presented the painting "Ten Alabaуs" for the exhibition. Adorable puppies on the hill "huddle" under the azure cloudless sky. This breed of dog, which has established itself as the best friend and assistant to the shepherd, has become a symbol of faith and reliability for humans. And the citizens of our country are proud of the Turkmen alabai, its strength and kindness, intelligence and charm.

Bayram Mamiev presented an amazing picture "On the Pasture". The author managed to testify how two cows freely lay down on the juicy tasty grass and literally bliss, enjoying the fresh air, satiety and pleasant company. Bayram did a very good job with the light and shadows, which emphasizes the realism of the picture.

Of the paintings on floristry, the most successful, in our opinion, is the painting "Lilies" by Merdan Babajanov. The author very successfully presented the contrast of the milky-matte petals of lilies with the dark background of the picture. But, probably, the main charm of the royal flowers is that they did not look stiff at all in a bouquet.

At the end of our review of the exhibition, I would like to note the work "New Dashoguz", made by Merdan Kakabaev in the poster genre. The artist divided his work into two parts. On the front part he depicted a generous dastarkhan, on the back - the architecture of the new Dashoguz, made in the palace style. In the center, under the State banner, is a hunter galloping after his prey. The picture is made in yellow and blue colors, emphasizing the national style of the northern velayat of our country.

The strong unity of the people, which is mentioned in the slogan of 2022, made it possible for the organizers of the exhibition to turn to the topic “Creation”, and this topic is fully disclosed by the paintings of Turkmen artists.
