«El hunari - il gezer» («Your needlework is known all over the world») under this name, the second round of the interuniversity creative competition is held at the Turkmen Music and Drama Theater named after Makhtumkuli.
This time, the stage of the theater turned into an exhibition hall of arts and crafts, which was enlivened by the actions of students and teachers of the Turkmen National Conservatory named after Maya Kuliyeva. Girls studying at four faculties - folk instruments; orchestral instruments; vocal, conducting and musical pedagogy; Faculty of Theory, Composition and Piano was entrusted to defend the honor of the university in the competition. Future vocalists and musicians acted as embroiderers, carpet weavers, felters, knitters, and tirelessly created skillful exclusive products that are highly valued not only in our country, but also far abroad. And to make the time at work more fun, the participants of the competition simultaneously held a vocal concert, the program of which included folk songs and musical works.
Holding such a competition among the students of the country, according to the idea of the specialists of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, has a specific goal. Higher educational institutions of the country train girls for the professions of engineers, doctors, teachers, artists, etc. But these students are girls with the mentality of the Turkmen people, which means they must be excellent needlewomen by nature, from education - to know folk songs, ancient legends. No matter how high a Turkmen woman rises in her profession, she must feel the roots of national culture in herself. And the creative inter-university competition, which in itself is a bright and interesting event, will help strengthen the identity of the Turkmen national culture.
Dunyagozel Bedalieva sang the song "Enedjan" very touchingly, which made me remember my mother and once again imbued with love for her all those present in the hall. Aidzhemal Yakubova presented the song "Carpet Weaver" with great love. And because there were girls weaving a Turkmen carpet on the stage, the song was perceived in a special way.
The song "Laleler" is popular in all velayats of our country. Moreover, women of each velayat perform it in their own way. The concert program included a number of five songs "Laleler" so that the listeners could tell by ear the difference in their performance.
"Lullaby" in gentle affectionate intonations was performed by the teacher Myakhri Khodjaeva. A student Yazgul Djumaeva presented a legend about music in the verbal genre. But, perhaps, the most impressive performance of all 32 numbers of the concert program was the performance on the flute by teachers Durjemal Chanlyeva and Aigul Yagshieva of the Turkmen folk work “Zibaguzel”.
Turkmen National Conservatory named after Mai Kuliyeva in the folklore nomination had some advantages over other contestants. Students and teachers took advantage of their chance.
