Turkmenistan produced 83 billion 772.9 million cubic meters of natural gas in 2021. This was announced by the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Shahym Abdrahmanov at an extraordinary meeting of the upper house of the parliament, Halk Maslakhaty.
The curator of the oil and gas complex noted that during the period under review, the plan for the production of petrol was fulfilled at the level of 105 percent, bitumen - 142.3 percent, polypropylene - 105.9 percent. During the reporting period, the plan for the extraction of natural and associated gas was fulfilled by 120.1 percent, for the export of "blue fuel" - 129.8 percent, for the development of investments - 109 percent. Information was also provided on the volumes of production of diesel fuel and liquefied gas.
The Deputy of Head of the Government emphasized that by the end of 2021, the highest natural gas production rate over the years of independence was reached - 83 billion 772.9 million cubic meters.
