Today we will highlight the work of specialists from the Laboratory of Information Security and Communication Technologies of the Technology Center of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, who introduce the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) into various organizations of our country.

Specialists of the laboratory of information security and communication technologies of the Technology Center have developed and implemented an electronic document management system in the internal network of the National Institute of Language, Literature and Manuscripts and the Technology Center of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan. The exchange of documents in these institutions in electronic form provided a digital environment based on information and communication technologies based on the use of electronic means, services and resources.

The “digital” infrastructure has been implemented in accordance with the requirements of the Concept for the Development of the Digital Economy in Turkmenistan for 2019-2025 and the requirements of the “Technical Work of the Electronic Document Management System”, approved by the Turkmenaragatnashyk Agency. It provides for the presence in the system of a complete set of tools for managing documents at all stages of their life cycle: creation, editing, storage. It also supports document routing capabilities and, of course, basic functions such as search, classification, and so on.

According to the developers, this software will contribute to the integration of the scientific system into the country's unified electronic document management system.

The Information and Communication Technologies Laboratory of the Technology Center of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan received a license from the Turkmenaragatnashyk Agency for the right to carry out activities in the field of cybersecurity. As part of this permit document, the laboratory specialists, in addition to developing an electronic document management system, create websites (traditional and specialized), mobile applications, IT consulting, develop automated solutions, set up servers and perform other types of cybersecurity services.

In particular, the laboratory staff developed the website of the Technology Center under the domain name www.scitech.gov.tm, which regularly posts information about the scientific activities of the Center and scientific and practical conferences held at the institution.

The laboratory is working on the development of automated solutions and methods. Specialists have developed a method for automating agriculture. Currently, the laboratory is conducting research on the topic "Development of reliable telecontrol equipment" in order to create a mechanism for the exchange of information for telecontrol equipment in the conditions of Turkmenistan.
