Today, at the initiative of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, an international conference and exhibition "Glorification of a happy spring in the visual arts" dedicated to International Women's Day began in the Turkmen capital.
The thematic forum was organized in the halls of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where an exposition of paintings, works of jewelers, and decorative and applied arts was unfolded.
Flowers, of course, have become peculiar symbols of the exhibition - constant companions of spring, embodied in the works of artists, traditional carpet ornaments and embroidery patterns, elegant forms of jewelry, decoration of copper and bronze vessels, decorative painting on ceramics and porcelain. Floral compositions gave a special atmosphere to the event.
The velayats of the country presented pottery, art and carpet products. Also of great interest among numerous visitors were designs of national clothes and accessories.
A special place at the exhibition is given to the pavilion dedicated to the motto of this year “The era of the people with Arkadag”.
The heartfelt atmosphere of the holiday, permeated with the spirit of national culture, traditions, customs and rituals, was multiplied by artisans - carpet weavers and dutar makers, young artists, sculptors, zergers, who clearly demonstrated their skills.
The festive mood at the venues of the vernissage was multiplied by beautiful melodies performed by young musicians.
Members of the Government, heads of ministries and departments, rectors of universities, representatives of public organizations, the diplomatic corps and international organizations accredited in our country, the media, as well as cultural figures and youth took part in the opening ceremony of the exhibition.
Speakers at the celebration noted that thanks to the care of the leader of the nation Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, our compatriots, especially the younger generation, have created ample opportunities for modern education, comprehensive development, including professional development, and a happy life.
Within the framework of the forum in honor of lovely women, the performances of the State Symphony Orchestra of the Mukams Palace of the State Cultural Center, popular pop singers, masters of arts, and dance groups also took place.
In the afternoon, as part of the festive program, a plenary session was held, where foreign participants also joined the discussion on the digital system.
In Turkmenistan, a wonderful spring holiday - International Women's Day - is held in accordance with national traditions and is evidence of the huge state attention to the beautiful half of society.
Tomorrow the conference will continue its work in three sections, which will be held at the State Academy of Arts, the Museum of Fine Arts, the State Museum of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan on the topics of fine arts, its role in national heritage and museum values.
The exhibition will run until March 8th.
