In honor of the announcement of the motto of the year «Epoch of the people with Arkadag», in order to reveal the modern work of masters of fine and applied arts glorifying peace on earth and the triumph of state policy pursued under the leadership of the President of Turkmenistan in an independent neutral Motherland and to identify works reflecting such qualities as patriotism, humanism , peacefulness, with the participation of art critics of the country, a competition of scientific and creative works related to the theory of art is being held.

The works of those wishing to participate in the competition will be accepted at the Union of Artists of Turkmenistan in printed handwritten and electronic forms until April 15 this year.

The following types of works are allowed to participate in the competition:

1. Monograph or scientific article;

2. Catalog;

3. Articles.

Scientific articles related to the theory of art history and recommending new works based on the scientific and literary works of the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov should be written on the topics “My Fatherland with Arkadag”, “Turkmenistan is the Motherland of the World”, “Labor”, “Historical Figures”, “Master's Creativity mentor”, “Our cultural heritage”.

The results of the competition will be announced on June 20, 2022 in a solemn atmosphere at the opening of the exhibition in honor of the Day of Workers of Culture and Art and the Poetry of Magtymguly Fragi, which will be held in the exhibition hall of the Union of Artists of Turkmenistan in Ashgabat.
