On April 8, a big concert was held in the Great Hall of the Special Musical Boarding School at the Turkmen National Conservatory named after Mai Kuliyeva. The performance program, compiled by Allamurat Allanurovich Durdyklychev, deputy director for the musical cycle, included more than 20 numbers, which made it possible to demonstrate virtuoso playing on various musical instruments to both teachers and students of the school.

The concert was opened by two numbers performed by the symphony orchestra under the baton of conductor Mered Muhammetgulyev. The overture to the opera "Aina" by Danatar Ovezov and the composition "Czardas", created by the Italian musician Vittorio Monti, were performed.

Then the school choir "Gunesh" performed, headed by the honored worker of arts of Turkmenistan Aknur Khodjagurbanova. The works “Song about the Motherland” (music: Gulshat Odeniyazova, lyrics: Allanur Choliev) and “Veisya, flag” (music: Berdyniyaz Babaniyazov, lyrics: Shirindzhemal Dolyeva) were performed.

As part of the concert, works from the repertoires of Nury Khalmamedov, Chary Nurymov, Durdy Nurymov, Bayram Khudainazarov and Gakhryman Ashirov, as well as foreign composers, were also performed. They were performed not only by teachers: Oktay Najafov, Allamurat Durdyklychev, Aimyrat Saparmuradov, Ovezmyrat Amanmuradov, Nurmurat Niyazmuradov, Diana Melkumova, but also by students of the school Ilyas Amangeldiyev (10th grade), Abadan Meredova (11th grade), Leyli Bayramgeldiyeva (9 th class) and other young talents.

At the end of the event, the organizers of the big concert invited everyone to attend the concert of the best students of the boarding school scheduled for Saturday, April 30. The concert starts at 12:00.
