The State Drama Theater of the Balkan Velayat named after Saparmurat Turkmenbashi has completed work on the production of a new play "Love", created based on the novel of the same name by the people's writer Aman Kekilov.

The work, written in poetic form, not only immortalized the name of the author in Turkmen literature, but also pumped from book pages to the stage for many years. Turning again to the work of Aman Kekilov, the staff of the Balkan Theater focused on the fate of ordinary people, with their problems and hopes. Original images and high moral values, embedded in the artistic embodiment of the novel at a deep level, reflect the spiritual strength and resilience of the Turkmen people.

The author himself spent twenty years of his life writing such a piercing work about a great feeling of love that can survive the crushing blow of the elements and give people faith in the future.

“The idea to make a performance based on the literary heritage of Aman Kekilov came to me a long time ago,” says the director of the production, Ovezmammet Galandarov. - When I first read the novel "Love", I was very touched by the events described, and even today this work finds many responses. For example, one of my acquaintances memorized some passages of poetry. But in the stage incarnation, we have slightly moved away from the poetic component of the novel, paying special attention to the disclosure of dramatic images.

Young actors tried to study their characters in detail, to understand the psychology of actions in order to revive the character, to convey the inner and outer image of the characters. To begin with, we disassembled small fragments of the work, deepened and increased the details, after which we moved on to a full-fledged production on stage.

A dramatic story told in a minimalist setting is no less captivating. The expressiveness of thought, and the internal conflicts of the characters, vividly conveys the musical arrangement of the performance, which consists of the works of the Turkmen composer Nury Khalmamedov. The main roles are played by Lachin Nuryeva, Arslan Khodjagurbanov, Parahat Ilyasov. In the near future, everyone will be able to watch the new production.
