The audience hall of the Mukams Palace of the State Cultural Center is filled with smart people spreading the aroma of fine perfumes. The musicians of the State Symphony Orchestra take their places, the main conductor Rasul Klychev is on the stage. The host of the concert announces: “George Gershwin. Cuban Overture. A wave of the conductor's baton, and listeners are transported to another continent of the planet at the beginning of the last century.

The American composer with Russian roots George Gershwin was the first musician to combine symphonic music with elements of jazz in his work. And the work began to play with lively sensual sounds, bringing the aristocratic stiffness of symphonic music closer to folk music. This work brought fame to the author! And the musicians of the orchestra masterfully performed every nuance of the overture in order to truly convey to the audience the symbiosis of seemingly antipodal genres. The performance of the musicians caused a flurry of applause in the hall.

The Scaramos Suite by Darius Milhaud was so hugely popular in Mexico that it became the second most important national piece of music. The clarinet solo was performed by Yusup Ovezov. At the beginning of the suite, one could clearly feel the brewing of a storm in the ocean, then the listeners were literally covered by a storm wave. But after a storm there always comes a calm. And again, the squadron of ships solemnly entered the duel with the unpredictable water element. All these events were experienced by the listeners during the performance of the suite.

Several songs were performed by Nury Nuryev in a gentle velvety tenor. It can be said that he surpassed himself in the performance of "Granada" by Augustine Lara. The audience applauded, exclamations of “Bravo!” were heard in the hall, and Rasul Klychev, expressing gratitude to the singer, hugged him tightly right on the stage.

Maysa Niyazova, who is very good at the genre of jazz, performed several dramatic gypsy songs, touching the audience with the tragic stories experienced by her heroes.

The audience did not let go of the orchestra musicians with their applause for a long time, and then Rasul Klychev made a small gift for the audience by performing "Dances from the Ballet" by Alberto Khinatsera. Once again, the audience gave their favorite musicians a round of applause.
