The President of Turkmenistan received the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Roman Sklyar, who arrived in our country.

During the meeting, it was underlined that our countries, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations this year, have built exemplary interstate cooperation during this time. The interlocutors emphasized the need to intensify the constructive Turkmen-Kazakh dialogue in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian fields in connection with the great prospects for its further development, taking into account mutual interests.

Among the key areas were identified trade and economic, fuel and energy, industrial and agricultural spheres, which interaction is prevailing. Thus, there have been reached agreements on the supply of Turkmen gas to a neighboring friendly country. The Kazakh side expressed interest in implementing a project to build a grain storage terminal on the territory of Turkmenistan.

At the end of the meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Roman Sklyar exchanged good wishes, expressing firm confidence in the successful continuation of the primordial traditions of friendship and good-neighborliness between the two states and their fraternal peoples.
