The well-known statesman Bairam Khan Turkmen was an outstanding poet and philosopher who left a rich literary heritage. His work was based on the ideas of patriotism, humanism and national courage. Inspired by the fate of a talented shakhir and a fearless commander, director Ovezmammet Galandarov created a performance that reveals the richest cultural and historical layer of time.

From the opening of the theatrical curtain, the story plunges the viewer into an amazing journey in the footsteps of myths and legends of a distant era. Large intricate decorations represent the ancient world of South Asia. As you know, Bayram Khan Turkmen, who came from the Turkmen tribe of Baharly, ruled the state of the Great Moguls in India.

Hence such a bright set design – huge Asian elephants located in the background of scenery, majestic arches of palaces and a unique play of theatrical light. All this magical atmosphere helps the actors to tune in the right way.

The image of the wise ruler Bairam Khan was brilliantly embodied by Murad Satiev. In working on the role, the actor managed to achieve similarities with his character and convey the ideological message of the characteristic image.
