Creative teams of our country are actively preparing for the Week of Culture, traditionally held at the end of June. This time the venue for large cultural events will be Mary velayat. Here, in accordance with the motto of this year “The epoch of the people with Arkadag”, thematic exhibitions, competitions, concerts and, of course, performances will be held.

The concert “City of Love” prepared on the occasion of the celebration of the Day of the City of Ashgabat, has replenished the poster of the Russian Drama Theater. This year our capital celebrated its 141st anniversary. The cultural and entertainment program includes dances of the peoples of the world, songs, humorous numbers, poems dedicated to the white marble Ashgabat and much more.

Performance “Basgançagyň aşagynda kim ýaşaýar”(“Who lives under the porch?”) tells about the life of a village cat named Akja. The unlucky kitten gets into interesting stories all the time, and one day he has to get acquainted with a puppy. Will a cat and a dog be able to make friends, a puppet musical fairy tale will tell.
