Director Vepa Ishankuliyev and the film crew of the full-length film "The Value of the Big Prize" cannot be found in the Creative Association "Turkmenfilm" named after. Oguzkhan. For days on end they disappear at the hippodrome, where a film is being made about Seyis Nurly aga and his beautiful horse Tumar.
The authors of the script, the brothers Khydyr and Ilyas Amangeldyev, opened a page in the life of selfless talented seyis to the audience.
Movie synopsis. Nurly aga from childhood was engaged in horses. He carefully looked after their health and beauty, was friends with them as with people, understood them. Seeing this attitude of the horse breeder, the mentor Aky aga let him in on the secrets of his profession, despite the fact that he himself had a son. Many horses passed through the caring hands of Nurla, but one of them, the horse Tumar, can be said to have passed through the heart. For many years now, she has not been equal either in beauty or in running. Tumar won prizes at the races. But one day, by the behavior of his pet, Nurly noticed that she was not completely healthy. Seyis warned the owner of the horse Agala Agha that until she recovered, she should not be allowed to compete. Agaly aga did not attach much importance to this. This thoughtless act led to the fact that the doctor permanently removed Tumar from racing.
Nurly could not bear such a blow and decided to leave horse breeding. It was hard for him without a favorite thing, with memories of Tumar, his heart sank with longing. But time has passed, and Nurly learns that Tumar has given birth to a foal.
“Give me a foal and I will make him the same invincible horse that Tumar was,” the seiis, perked up, begged Agali aga.
And a few years later, a horse named Tarlan, for the first time standing on a treadmill, broke the coveted finish line, causing a flurry of applause in the stands of the hippodrome and tears of joy from Nurla with his first victory.
“It was with great enthusiasm that I undertook to make a film about the Turkmen seyis,” film director Vepa Ishankuliev says in an interview for our newspaper. – In my student years, I starred in a number of films about horses, in which the main role was assigned to the horse, and the seis somehow remained in the background. When I became a director, during the filming of “Kopetdag - the dream of a Turkmen soldier” (Kopetdag is the nickname of a horse) and “Galkynysh”, I noticed that the seyis treat horses like their children. Therefore, after reading the script “The Value of the Big Prize”, which describes the fate of a seyis, a talented worker who puts his whole soul into the upbringing of Turkmen horses, I realized that I could finally pay tribute to all seyis with my film.
The role of Seyis Nurli is played by the People's Artist of Turkmenistan Annamuhammet Gurbanov, the role of Tumar is taken by the horse Nuranaay, which means "Beautiful light of the moon." This is her debut in cinematography, so she behaves differently in front of the camera. But in the course of filming, we find a common language with her: horses understand when they are respected.
The main plot line is intertwined with other lines, where, of course, there is love.
Presumably, the film will be released on the Independence Day of the country.
