The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Turkmenistan announced the start of accepting applications for the competition "Turkmenistan K-Pop Festival 2022". The cultural event will be held on July 16 at the site of the National Music and Drama Theater. Makhtumkuli. Creative units and teams of up to seven people in a group are invited to participate.
To participate in the competition program, you must fill out the application form and send a video with your performance to e-mail (korembtm@mofa.go.kr). Applications are accepted until June 15th. Dance and vocal competitions in the musical genre K-Pop, whose birthplace is South Korea, are held in different countries and cities. Today, the Faculty of Korean language operates at the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after D. Azadi. Recently, within the framework of the grant aid project of the Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), language laboratories were opened at the university, equipped with modern equipment and special software for multimedia classes.
Another platform for studying the Korean language and culture in Ashgabat is the Educational Center of the King Sejong Institute Foundation. Here, students are offered more than ten language courses. During the training sessions, the students of the center get acquainted with the traditions of the Korean people, learn Korean calligraphy and much more.
