From June 22 to June 27, the Week of Culture will be held in the Mary velayat.
The extensive program of the congress of creative figures, organized on the occasion of the celebration of the Day of workers of culture, art and poetry of Magtymguly Fragi, will include thematic events, concerts, creative meetings, excursions to the historical and cultural monuments of the velayat and much more.
As part of the Week of Culture, it is planned to lay flowers at the Magtymguly monument, hold an international scientific and methodological meeting on a digital system, and show the opera “Magtymguly”, dedicated to the classics of Turkmen literature.
And next weekend from 17 to 19 June, the capital's theaters will delight the audience with their productions.

The play "Söýgi duralgasy" was based on the play of the same name by the Turkmen playwright Ashir Mamliyev. The plot tells about family relationships, jealousy, wisdom and great love that can heal spiritual wounds.

The temperamental comedy of the Spanish playwright Lope de Vega "Inventive Lover" tells about the girl Fenis, who is in love with her neighbor and is ready to do anything for her happiness. The play "Böwenjik" was created based on the Turkmen folk tale about a greedy and gluttonous bubble named Bovendzhik. Without knowing the measure, he stuffs his belly with everything in a row, until one day he bursts. However, the tale has a happy ending. Realizing all his faults, Bovendzhik comes to the conclusion that you need to live in peace, friendship and harmony with everyone.
