Alexey GIMALITDINOV

On the occasion of the Day of the Worker of Culture and Art and the 300th anniversary of the great poet Makhtumkuli, an exhibition of works by Turkmen artists was opened in the capital's Exhibition Center for Fine Arts.

Ogulnur Poladova presented an engraving dedicated to Magtymguly: working on the manuscript of another work, the poet cannot be separated from his homeland – the high Karakalinsky mountains, a lonely traveler, a monotonously moving caravan… All this is in the heart of Magtymguly. For the sake of this, he lives and creates - this is the message of the engraving.

Among the ceramic works dedicated to the great poet, there is a vessel covered with glaze, on the walls of which verses of Magtymguly are applied. The author of this vessel is Pakhtmagozel Yagshimuradova.

One of the standout works at the exhibition is the portrait of Khurma Dzhumamuradova "Teacher Gulyar". Persimmon captured the teacher of the department of applied arts of the State Academy of Arts Gulyara Babayeva at the time of work on ceramic figurines. The portrait was successful because the author achieved, firstly, an absolute resemblance to the original, secondly, the artist's feeling of inspiration, and thirdly, the charm of a beautiful young woman.

A graduate of the State Art School, Khurma Dzhumamuradova, can be called the main character of this exhibition in terms of the number and quality of the exhibited works. Her work "Etude" is very attractive. An etude is a small piece of music, the violinist who performs this piece also fits this name. But something tells that the little girl who personifies this work has a great future.

Another interesting painting by Khurma Dzhumamuradova is "Reality and Fantasy", in which she depicts a young artist working on a portrait of a loved one. At some point, as it seemed to the girl, the portrait came to life and stretched out his hands to her.

Tajigyul Kurbanova presented an exposition of exclusive skullcaps. Keeping the national colors, this headdress has acquired a variety of forms that are convenient for use at any age.

Among the bright skullcaps is Aya Serhenova's painting "Nokhur", which depicts a teenage girl selling strawberries. The girl looks at the viewer with big eyes, as if she were a buyer who asks the price of her goods.

Bayramgeldy Movlyamov graduated from the Ashgabat City Lyceum No. 4 with a degree in graphic art. One day he accidentally got into the exhibition center, where the paintings of the artists made an indelible impression on him. He asked the administration if he could bring his work.

Bayramgeldy Movlyamov's painting "The Sea", made in gouache, is presented at this exhibition. The boy very excitedly observes the reaction of the audience viewing his work, and considers participation in the exhibition a good chance to develop his painting abilities.

The flower theme was revealed better than others by Jennet Bagshieva and Merjen Durdiyeva. Their paintings "For You" and "Flowers" attract attention with their colorfulness and original angle of presentation of the picture.
