The Awaza national tourist zone offers its guests a wide range of entertainment - amusement parks, cycle tracks, singing fountains, water parks, a yacht club and much more. Among the interesting places that you can visit during the summer holidays is the exhibition hall of the World of Ships Museum.

Located on the banks of the man-made Awaza River, the museum presents an exposition of miniature ships. The collection contains more than seventy copies of the most famous steamships - from the British transatlantic liner Titanic to naval vessels.

Models of sailboats and frigates made of wood and other materials accurately reproduce famous prototypes of their eras. Each exhibit is accompanied by an information plate in Turkmen and English.

At the same time, museum visitors can take an unforgettable boat trip. The seven-kilometer navigable river "Awaza" runs through the entire territory of the resort town. The water route runs near the coast of the Caspian Sea. With the help of a powerful pipeline system, water for the river is pumped from the Caspian.

The museum and pleasure boats are open daily.
