The second-year students of the Turkmen State Institute of Culture of the Faculty of Theatrical Arts showed the premieres of three performances based on works of classical drama. Moreover, they chose the plays for the productions themselves. In the hall - faculty, students of different courses and friends as a support group, that is, both examiners and spectators.

The curtain rose, and the heroes of the drama "Profitable Place" by Alexander Ostrovsky appeared before the audience. The minimalism of the scenography immediately attracts attention: there are only two chairs. However, the performers of the main roles are not in costumes of the 19th century, but in ordinary everyday clothes of our time. With such a presentation, the director Baigeldy Atdaev focuses on the acting. And the acting students managed to convey the message of the socio-psychological drama, where even petty officials are seized by the passion of “making money” in their workplace.

From the 19th century, viewers enter the 18th century. The play "Amadeus" based on the play by Peter Schiffer was staged by student director Chinar Shallyeva. The theme of revealing the torments of professional envy that the successful composer Salieri experiences for the brilliant Mozart does not leave the stages of the world theater. In our case, the student Yazmurat Allaberdiyev was desperately struggling with the overwhelming feeling of envy.

Two moments adorned the performance. The first one is fruit bowls, which, on the one hand, were interior details, and on the other, a festive table for the guest. The second is the notes conveyed by Mozart: under a cursory glance by Salieri, they were animated into the magical melodies of a genius.

Ibraim Durdyev is the director and performer of the main role in the play "Richard III" by William Shakespeare. He literally captivated the audience with his performance. Ibraim presented the ambitious, cunning and ambitious Richard so organically that the question involuntarily arises: “Why did he choose directing if he has such a rich acting potential?”. Anna was played very authentically by his classmate Chinar Shallyyeva, who, according to the play, by the power of her conviction, Richard managed to persuade to become his wife.

The hall applauded the creators of the three performances and teachers Maral Durdyeva and Myakhrygozel Atdayeva for a long time.

- Ibraim Durdiyev, Yazmurat Allaberdiyev and Chinar Shallyyeva are classmates studying directing, - senior teacher Maral Durdiyeva comments. The fact that directors actively act as actors is productive for their experience. Good directors must know the actor's "kitchen".
