Ashgabad ends the plenary meetings of the major international sports Media Forum, held in the framework of the complex preparation of V Asian Games indoors and martial arts, dedicated to the Day of the sports journalists of Asia. In this connection, Ashgabat brought together press-services workers from 29 countries. In two days there was an exchange of views on an innovative approach in covering the Asian Games-2017.
In particular, at the final session of the participants, the importance of the activities of mass media of the major tournaments of the international level was discussed. In this age of high technology information the course of competition can be broadcasted in any part of the world almost instantly significantly increases the interest of fans, tracking the current sporting events. So, the work of journalists during the forthcoming Asian Games causing a great resonance in the international circles due to the fact that the first such event will be held with the participation of countries in Oceania should be ultimately effective and operative.
Today, the athletes represented demonstrative kinds of sports of V Asian Games to the representatives of the foreign media. The representatives of track and field athletics opened the performances who on 23 September in the arena of indoor track and field athletic complex of the Olympic village will participate in the international tournament test.
In these competitions, about 150 athletes from Afghanistan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and other countries will be attended. Medals will be awarded in 19 disciplines - few sprint races, including hurdles, competition for medium distances, long jump, triple jump, shot put, women's pentathlon and the high jump. The national team of Turkmenistan includes about 80 of the best athletes from all regions and Ashgabat.
Guests during the familiarization with the Olympic campus in addition to an indoor track and field arena, which also features a bowling space, visited the sports complexes in water sports, martial arts, wrestling and others.
The participants of the media forum was attended the opening test of the international tennis tournament in the capacity of spectator, as well as qualifying matches held in the auxiliary courts. Foreign reporters are highly appreciated not only the sports facilities, but also the level of organization of the competition.
A journalist from Nepal Niranjan Rajvanshi stressed that, Turkmen sportsmen in these competitions fought for victory with high dedication "With this approach, and dedication of the young generation of Turkmen tennis players are awaiting to a big sporting future."
