Days of Culture of Turkmenistan which is rich by variety of activities program granted the Saudis the opportunity to get acquainted with the rich culture, original traditions and customs of the Turkmen people, development trends and contemporary art of our country.
On the eve of the Riyadh the meeting of members of the Turkmen delegation held with representatives of the Ministry of Information and Culture of the friendly country. During the meeting the sides discussed issues of development of bilateral cultural ties, cooperation in the study of the rich historical and cultural heritage and modern achievements of both nations in the field of culture and art, as well as exchange of experience in the museum and the theatrical sphere, effective partnerships for tourism and other important directions.
The relevance and the prospects of this cooperation is evidenced the great interest shown by numerous residents and visitors of Riyadh to the exhibition of works of arts and crafts, museum treasures and publishing products in our country, organized in the lobby of the Cultural Center named after King Fahd.
There were presented various valuable exhibits testifyingthe fact that for thousands of years the Turkmen people are making a huge contribution to world civilization, earning the reputation of its glorious history, fiction, high level of development of art, science and education, a rich national heritage.
Particular attention of numerous visitors was attracted by the works of the head of state, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who open the foreign readership, and the world community as a country of modern Turkmenistan, which confidently go towards the path of intensive socio-economic, scientific and cultural development.
It was organized the movie screening "Magtumguli", and the videos about the preparation to the Asian Games 2017. The art of Turkmen carpet weaving was also organized here.
Then, Days of Culture of Turkmenistan continued the program events held in the city of Jeddah, where the masters of the arts of our country performed a big concert on the stage of the City Culture Centre.
Today, the final day of creative campaign, was organized a meeting of Turkmen writers and artists with Saudi counterparts, during of which the sides exchanged views of the significance of the bilateral cultural contacts, as well as the prospects of expansion of cooperation. It is emphasizes the important role of workers of culture and art in the further strengthening of friendly relations between the two states.
In the evening on the square in front of the historical and cultural monuments of the city of Jeddah, a solemn closing ceremony of Days of Culture of Turkmenistan in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was held. The finale accord was a performance of a joint concert. The songs and colorful music and dance compositions performers sang peace and friendship between nations.
