Nurana Khezretova from Turkmenistan won a bronze medal in the sambo wrestling competition at the ongoing VII International Sports Games "Children of Asia" in Vladivostok. A student of the 9th grade of the 14th secondary school of the Sayat etrap of the Lebap velayat achieved this success in the weight category up to 65 kg, in which nine athletes competed.

Valeria Vershinina from the Siberian Federal District of the Russian Federation became the champion of the Games in this weight category. The silver medal went to Nasiba Ismolova from Moscow. The second bronze medalist was Daria Vazhgovskaya from the Far Eastern Federal District of the Russian Federation.

On August 6, medals in boxing, archery and kurash wrestling will be played at the Children of Asia Games, where Turkmen athletes still have a chance to win prizes.

Two days before the closing ceremony of the "Children of Asia" Games, the national team of Turkmenistan in the overall medal standings takes 10th place among 17 teams with medals. In total, Turkmen athletes have 9 awards (2 gold, 1 silver and 6 bronze). The first three in terms of the number of medals are the Siberian Federal District of the Russian Federation (40 gold, 32 silver and 31 bronze), Uzbekistan (26-24-33) and the city of Moscow (24-34-31).

273 sets of medals of the VII International Games “Children of Asia” in 19 sports are contested by athletes from 12 countries and 8 regions of the Russian Federation. At the same time, the national team of the Primorskaya Territory of the Russian Federation is represented by two teams.
