The Mir TV channel, together with the KP.RU website of the Komsomolskaya Pravda media group, announces a competition for the best photo story dedicated to the culture, traditions, symbols and interesting events of the Commonwealth countries, including Turkmenistan, as well as Georgia.

The competition called "The WORLD looks bright" is held in honor of the 30th anniversary of the Interstate TV and Radio Company "Mir", which broadcasts in the Commonwealth countries and Georgia.

The organizers accept pictures about the sights, popular places of their native land, city or village, whether it's an apple orchard, viewing platforms with unforgettable sunsets, nature reserves with rare species of animals, or a local bazaar with spices and carpets.

“Each of us in our small Motherland - in our native city, village, village - has that very secret place to which we always want to return, whose beauty and brightness we want to show to the whole world,” the organizers say.

Applications are accepted until September 30 of the current year by e-mail media@phkp.ru.

Voting for the best works will last until October 5, and the competent jury will announce the names of the winners on October 10. The winning entries will be published between October 10th and 12th.
