The second victory at the training camp in the UAE was won by the football players of the youth team of Turkmenistan (under 20), beating their peers from the local “Gulf United” team - 3:2.

The game took place in the emirate of Ajman. As part of the Turkmen national team, Arslan Saparov scored a double (23rd and 82nd minutes), another goal scored by Ilyas Charyyev (30th).

Earlier, in the first control match, the “youth team” of Turkmenistan beat the club “Fursan Hispania” playing in the first division of the UAE - 4:3.

Upon completion of the training camp in the UAE, Said Seyidov’s wards flew to the capital of Jordan, Amman, where from September 10 to 18 they will take part in the qualifying tournament of the Youth Asian Cup-2023. Remind that in this competition our players will play in Group “D” with their peers from Jordan, Taiwan, Syria and the Northern Mariana Islands.

The youth team of Turkmenistan (U-20) will play the first game on September 10 against the team of the Northern Mariana Islands. Then on September 12, will play with Jordan, on September 14 will meet with rivals from Taiwan, and will end the qualifying tournament on September 18 with a match with Syria.

The winners of 10 qualifying groups and 5 best teams among the runners-up will advance to the final part of the Asian Youth Cup m-2023, which will be held from March 1 to March 18 next year in Uzbekistan.
