An exhibition under this title was opened at the State Museum of the State Cultural Center in honor of the 31st anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence.

The exhibits of the exhibition testify to the achievements of our country during the years of independence. Numerous photographs of the white marble capital, new villages, objects of the national economy, as well as the sights of our country included in the Guinness Book of Records are presented. Carpet panels woven by Turkmen carpet weavers, who skillfully depicted the nature of their native land, give a special flavor to the exhibition.

In the central part of the exposition there is a model of the Independence Monument on a pedestal. Five branches symbolically depart from it, telling about the achievements that have taken place in the five velayats of our country during the years of independence. Such exposition design of the exhibition in the form of five beams is used in the museum for the first time.

Employees of public organizations, deputies of the Halk Maslakhaty of the city of Ashgabat, teachers of higher educational institutions and cultural figures took part in the grand opening of the exhibition. Musical performances by the singer of the Turkmen Music and Drama Theater named after.
