An unprecedented fact will be included in the activities of the Union of Artists of Turkmenistan exhibition of works by Turkmen artists, which unfolded in the Exhibition Center of the capital on the eve of the 31st anniversary of the independence of Turkmenistan. 193 people received certificates of members of the Union of Artists there. These are graduates of the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan and the State Art College, who showed their best in creativity, as well as people who are successfully engaged in folk arts and crafts. Now the Union of Artists of Turkmenistan has 564 members.

And, of course, the authors of most of the exhibited works, and these are paintings, tapestries, felt mats, jewelry, sculptural and decorative works were artists who had just received the status of a member of the Union of Artists of Turkmenistan.

The painting by Dmitry Filipenko "Oguzhan - the land of ancestors" possessed the most attractive force. Over the past years, Dmitry has surprised at gala exhibitions with his works made on velvet. This time he outdid himself. The portrait of Oguzhan turned out to be very colorful. As the well-known art critic Azat Annaev noted, the artist used a surrealistic method of imposing some figures on others. This allowed him to raise many philosophical themes in his work.

Another picture that gathers visitors around itself is Yagshimurat Kerimov's graphic work "Sun, Earth, Moon". Despite the name, the central part of the picture is occupied by an old man, personifying time. His hands are in the position of reading prayer. Each viewer can interpret this impressive work in their own way.

The work of dolls "Oguzkhan and his six sons" was made by clothing designer Gulyalek Babakulova. There are more than 200 dolls in her author's collection.

Another designer, Jeren Kurbanova, is a specialist in stained-glass windows. She presented four watches to the exhibition, the glass panel of which she nicely decorated with national patterns.

Lace necklaces and bracelets for Turkmen beauties, which were presented by skilled jewelers, shone with gilded silver.

The great impression of the exhibition, which presents almost all types of fine arts, was combined with joy in the eyes of the majority of authors who had just become members of the Union of Artists of Turkmenistan.
