The third victory at the training camp in Baku was won by the futsal players of the Turkmenistan national team, beating Record Club AZ playing in the Azerbaijani championship with a score of 2: 1.

The game took place in the Absheron Idman sports complex. As part of our team, Mulkaman Annakuliev from Kopetdag and the captain of the team Maksat Soltanov from Denizchi distinguished themselves.

Earlier, in the first test match, Guvanch Kanayev's wards defeated the club of the Azerbaijani futsal major league Baku Fire - 1:0, and in the second match they beat the Azerbaijani team with a score of 4:2.

Upon completion of the training camp in Baku, the national team of Turkmenistan arrived in Kuwait, where it will take part in the final tournament of the Asian Cup-2022 from September 27 to October 8. Recall that in this competition our futsal players will play in group "B" with the teams of Uzbekistan, Bahrain and Tajikistan.

The first game the national team of Turkmenistan will play on September 27 against the team of Uzbekistan. Then, on September 29, he will play with Bahrain, and will complete the group stage on October 1 with a match with Tajikistan.

The top two teams from the group will advance to the quarterfinals.

Recall that Turkmen futsal players will play in the final tournament of the Asian Cup 10 years later. They achieved this right by taking second place in the group at the qualifying competition held in April in Bishkek. During it, our team beat Kyrgyzstan in the first round - 3:1, then with a score of 0:3 lost to Iran, the 12-time current champion of Asia, and on the final game day defeated the Maldives - 7:0.

For the national team of Turkmenistan, the upcoming final tournament of the Asian Futsal Cup will be the 7th in history. Previously, Turkmen futsal players participated in it in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010 and 2012.
