The Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan summed up the results of the student competition on the fundamentals of the legislation of Turkmenistan, dedicated to the celebration of the 31st anniversary of the Independence of the country.
Based on the results of the review, Medine Sopyganova, a first-year student of the Faculty of History of Magtymguly Turkmen State University, was declared the winner. The representative of the same university received the second place in the competition. This is Perman Kiyasov, a 3rd year student at the Faculty of English Language and Literature. And the third place was taken by Dilnoza Mukhadova, a third-year student of the Faculty of International Journalism of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The participants who successfully performed in the semi-finals and actively showed themselves on the competition site were also noted by the jury. The best experts in the basics of national legislation were awarded Certificates of Honor from the organizing university and valuable gifts from the sponsor of the event - the Nur Ýüpek trade brand. In addition, the participant who won first place became the owner of a cash prize and a challenge Cup of the competition.
As previously reported, the competition was organized by teachers of the Department of International Law and Comparative Law and members of the Young Lawyers Scientific Club of the Higher School of Diplomacy. The competition was held in Turkmen and Russian in three stages in the form of a quiz game.
The review made it possible to assess the general level of knowledge of the national legislative framework, awareness of the rights and obligations of citizens of the country among the youth. At the same time, the competition is designed to increase the legal literacy of participants, strengthen and expand understanding of this topic, stimulate interest and attention to knowledge in the field of jurisprudence among students studying in different areas of training.
