Recently, the Capital Exhibition Center has been delighting fans of fine arts by organizing the most interesting exhibitions of works by Turkmen artists. This time, visitors are given the opportunity to emotionally enjoy the works of Mary artists.

It should be noted that the Mary school of painting is the most advanced in Turkmenistan. Nevertheless, a surge of talent among artists has recently been felt in Ashgabat. Whether the Mary school will be able to retain its leadership will to some extent depend on this unfolding exhibition.

42 artists exhibited 220 works, which occupied both floors of the exhibition center. The exhibition opened with the works of three luminaries of Mary artists - Kossek Nurmuradov, Annadurdy Muradaliev and Chara Khummetov. Honored Artist of Turkmenistan Kossek Nurmuradov is perhaps the most famous Turkmen artist. It is enough to say his name, as bright red paintings, written in the style of abstractionism and oriental miniatures, immediately pop up in my head.

Honored Artist of Turkmenistan Chary Hummetov is called the singer of working women. His small paintings depict female figures in chocolate shades, who bake cakes, sew, embroider, wash a mountain of dishes after toi, etc. It seems that they are engaged in everyday work, but the style of impressionism is felt by the emotional intensity of the presentation of what is happening. This time, Chary Hummetov presented female portraits.

People's Artist of Turkmenistan Annadurdy Muradaliev is an abstract artist, but he won the hearts of art lovers with a series of works from the life of the villagers, made in the style of professional imitation of the unprofessional. Among these works, the painting "Going" is presented at the exhibition.

The author of the exposition, which connects the lower floor of the exhibition center with the upper one, is the People's Artist of Turkmenistan Gurbangeldy Gurbanov, who uses the method of pointillism in his work - dotted strokes.

All exhibited paintings, in whatever style they were created, are either good or very good. The youth learns from the luminaries to find themselves in creativity and to be worthy of the mark of a Mary artist.

According to the Honored Art Worker of Turkmenistan, art critic Azat Annayev, Mary artists tend to paint non-statically, even in the silence they depict, one feels an inner movement, foreshadowing a storm of emotions.

This extraordinary exhibition aroused interest not only among those who connected their lives with painting, but also among people who are far from this type of art by profession. She gave an idea of the development of the Turkmen fine arts at the moment.
