A scientific meeting dedicated to the topic of growing fruit trees was held at the Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A. Niyazov.
The weekly event is traditionally held with the participation of university teachers and students, interested representatives of other metropolitan universities, specialized specialists, and domestic entrepreneurs.
During the meeting, Turkmen farmers shared their experience in growing fruit trees, in particular, dwarf ones. The experience of carrying out important seasonal agricultural activities for the care of plants, applied agricultural technologies to obtain abundant harvests, was considered in detail.
As domestic agricultural producers emphasized, in order to keep up with the latest achievements of modern science and introduce innovative methods in agriculture, every effort is being made, the necessary measures are being taken. The main goal is to provide the population of the country with sufficient quantities of high-quality vegetables and fruits in all seasons of the year.
The topic of growing dwarf fruit trees, such as apple, pear, peach, cherry, was presented to the audience by a member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET), a representative of the Solnechny frukt ES Rakhim Ataev. The speech spoke about high-yielding varieties of trees brought by domestic entrepreneurs from Turkey, the intricacies of caring for them, methods of harvesting and storing crops without damage.
The meeting was continued by a speech by a member of the UIET, entrepreneur Nuryagdy Pirliev, who spoke about his personal experience of growing almond trees in local soil and climatic conditions. The entrepreneur focused the attention of the participants on effective ways and features of tree care, methods of obtaining rich harvests.
The event also widely discussed the distribution of fruit dwarf trees in Turkmenistan due to the high economic efficiency of their cultivation, taking into account a significant reduction in the time for obtaining a full-fledged harvest with relatively small areas of tree nutrition.
As noted, dwarf gardens are very popular in the world, which is explained by a number of their advantages, including ease of care, aesthetic and decorative appearance, abundant fruiting and high yields. And the fruits grown in the climatic conditions of our sunny country are also much tastier than their European counterparts, Turkmen entrepreneurs emphasized.
At the meeting, fresh interesting ideas and constructive proposals on the topic were voiced and considered. In addition, the participants planned to devote the next meeting to the scientific methods of plowing and planning agricultural land.
