From October 11 to 15, the city of Turkmenabat will host the international festival "Handicraft and arts and crafts in the heritage of the peoples of the world."

Representatives of Iran, Latvia, Romania, Turkey, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan will take part in the forum, designed to highlight the national heritage of the peoples of the world and promote the rapprochement of cultures.

The grand opening of the festival will take place in the building "Türkmeniň Ak öýi" in the city of Turkmenabat. Then the events will continue in the Local History Museum of the Lebap velayat, the State Music and Drama Theater named after Seyitnazar Seydi, the Lebap velayat library.

The creative forum will also bring together artisans and masters of arts and crafts from all regions of the country. Within the framework of the festival, an exhibition of the national heritage of the participating countries, film screenings, creative meetings, master classes and a scientific conference will be organized. Preparatory work is currently underway.
