Painting as a source of spiritual enrichment

There is an expression: "Sculptures and paintings live when someone sees them." The Museum of Fine Arts of Turkmenistan, the gallery of the Academy of Arts and the exhibition hall of the Union of Artists of the country constantly give Ashgabat residents and guests of the Turkmen capital the opportunity to touch art literally at arm's length.

In museum spaces, visitors can not only get acquainted with the work of modern Turkmen painters, but also communicate with them personally. A vivid evidence of this is the recent exhibition https://turkmenistan.gov.tm/ru/post/66744/vystavlyayutsya-raboty-hudozhnikov-maryjskogo-velayata of masters representing the Mary velayat.

The exposition of paintings made an indelible impression on the public and received many positive reviews. The artists who arrived from Mary held a number of creative meetings with talented young people, novice portrait painters and fine art lovers, and also exchanged views with colleagues in the "workshop".

Creative dialogue, active interaction with each other and the public are important components in the work of creators. Aibibi Amanklycheva spoke about how the support of colleagues gives strength to the development of artistic talent.

Today, the artist is a laureate of the Turkmeniň Altyn asyry award of the President of Turkmenistan, she teaches the basics of composition and painting to young talents. But once a graduate of an art school was thinking of abandoning her skills.

“I started drawing when I was very young,” says Aibibi Amanklycheva. “I remember being struck by the color blue as a child. And I painted with blue pencils all the walls in the house. My parents then did not scold me, but took me to an art school. Since then, my career path has begun.

For many years, Aibibi doubted her talent. The vicissitudes of adulthood have affected her self-confidence. Until one day a classmate sent her a large easel, brushes and paints to Ashgabat. “Draw Abibi! Don’t think about anything, just draw! ”A friend told her. Turning to her inner world, childhood memories and looking closely at the surrounding space, the artist again set to work. But already consciously and seriously.

Aybibi finds inspiration for creating his paintings in the rich historical and cultural heritage of the people. She sings of the life of Turkmen women and mothers on her canvases. Filling each image with its vision and meaning.

According to the artist, visiting exhibitions is a source of spiritual enrichment and contributes to versatile development, which is especially important for student youth.
