Ten young karate athletes and two coaches will represent Turkmenistan at the 26th Open Traditional Karate European Championship starting in Rome.

Traditional karate has been officially developed in Turkmenistan since the registration in 1994 of the National Federation for this type of martial arts.

The open European championship in traditional karate will end on October 23rd.
