From November 14 to 17, inclusive, the International Student Internet Olympiad in Chemistry is being held at the Magtymguly Turkmen State University.

Welcoming students who expressed a desire to test their knowledge of this subject, the rector of TSU named after Magtymguly Bayramgul Orazdurdyyeva, Chairman of the Jury of the Olympiad, Director of the Center for Technology of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan Durdymyrat Gadamov, member of the jury team from Russia - Associate Professor of the Department of Physical Chemistry, Moscow State University named after M. Lomonosov Oksana Ryjova.

It is noteworthy that the Internet Olympiad attracted the attention of about three hundred students from more than twenty countries of the world. Among the participants are representatives of higher educational institutions of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, China, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Hungary, Ukraine, USA, Austria, Spain, Italy, Malaysia, etc.

Turkmenistan is represented by students from 14 universities, where chemistry is an area of specialization or is studied as a non-core discipline.

The Olympiad is held in stages in the categories «A» and «B». Differing in the degree of complexity of tasks developed by an international team of experts in the jury present.

The finalists will be announced at the end of the Internet Olympiad. The winners will be awarded diplomas of three degrees of distinction.
