During the days of the festival of Turkmen-Uzbek friendship in Dashoguz, the local history museum of the Dashoguz velayat presented its new exposition to visitors. It was based on the works of local artists and sculptors dedicated to the history, culture, customs and traditions of the Turkmen people, the beauty of their native land, including the northern region of the country.

They attract with their expressiveness, the ability to accurately convey movements, gestures, poses of the sculpture model "Bagshi-gelin", "Avchy", "Jerenler" and other members of the Union of Artists of Turkmenistan B.Annamedov. Landscapes and still life created by skillful play on the contrast of light and shadows by well-known painters in the region O.Shyhyyeva, G.Babaev, M.Kakabaev clearly reveal the original beauty of Turkmen nature, its historical sights, the generous gifts of our land, the depth of national customs and traditions. Deeply emotional in content, rich in colors and made in different genres and techniques, the works complemented the colorful palette of the great cultural event in Dashoguz with their rich colors.

The local history museum of the Dashoguz velayat meets the most modern world standards and the high requirements for social and cultural facilities in our country. All conditions have been created here for storage, demonstration of unique exhibits, scientific research and restoration work, archaeological and ethnographic expositions, expositions of nature and fine arts, as well as an exposition telling about today's achievements and new buildings of the velayat.

In accordance with the cultural events held in the country, widely celebrated significant dates and holidays, the museum staff constantly updates thematic exhibitions, for which there is a temporary exhibition hall.
