The next issue of the “Democracy and Law” journal

The next issue of the quarterly “Democracy and Law” journal, prepared for publication by the Institute of State, Law and Democracy of Turkmenistan, has been published.

The journal, published in Turkmen, English and Russian, opens the text of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov’s speech at the Dovlet Maslakhaty held in Ashgabat in September 23, dedicated to the 31st anniversary of Turkmenistan’s independence. 

Among the materials offered to readers is the article “National and International Legal Aspects of the Development of Renewable Energy Sources in Turkmenistan”, which notes that the key objectives of the foreign policy of the Motherland is the organization of economic and industrial activities at the national level through the establishment of international cooperation in the field of renewable energy sources and the study of world best practices.

The next issue of the “Democracy and Law” journal publishes a number of materials on legal topics.

In the publication “Legal Culture: the importance of clarifying national legislation in raising public awareness” emphasizes the significance of forming legal consciousness and increasing legal knowledge of the individual.

“How perfect are the spiritual and moral views and legal culture of a person, so high is the quality of his legal knowledge and their competent application, as well as the degree of respect for the law, readiness to implement legal norms,” the article notes.

The article “Professional ethics of a lawyer” will also attract the attention of readers, which deals with legal ethics that requires adherence to the law while protecting the interests of people, conscientiousness and integrity in the context of the equality of every citizen before the law guaranteed by the state.

The article focuses on the nature of advocacy, the need for active participation in activities aimed at preventing offenses.

The publication “The importance of legal norms in maritime transport” is devoted to this area as a link in the economic, organizational and legal plan of the national economic infrastructure with the international transport system.

The publication ends with the traditional column “Chronicle”, in which the reader is offered an overview of meetings, sessions, seminars and other events held in Ashgabat with the participation of representatives of reputable international organizations.
