The event conducted in the framework of the Days of Culture of Turkmenistan, familiarized the residents and guests of the Uzbek capital with vivid original art of our people, modern art. The bilateral humanitarian contacts have greatly expanded by performing famous musicians and singers, demonstrating Turkmen films, the exhibition samples of arts and crafts and museum values, including cultural meeting are held between two friendly countries.
In this context, as noted the active role of the large Turkmen Diaspora of Uzbekistan in holding the forum and, in general, in the development of dialogue between two peoples. Today, hundreds of thousands of our compatriots live in various regions of the friendly state, and seven Turkmen cultural centers operate across the country. The teaching is undergoing in the Turkmen language in 42 schools of Uzbekistan. Students of pedagogical and medical colleges and students of the Faculty of the Turkmen Philology of Karakalpak State University are taught in Turkmen. Turkmen diaspora has its own newspaper "Mekan", there are television and radio channels broadcasting in Turkmen. Our compatriots, is a member of the Humanitarian Association of World Turkmens (HAWT), making a significant contribution to the strengthening of comprehensive cooperation between two states.
Today, familiarity with the culture of our people continues in Bukhara. In the city's College of Arts named after Mukhtar Ashrafi is being presented a classic of Turkmen cinematography - the film "Competition", filmed of 1964, directed by Bulat Mansurov based on the novel "Shukur Bakhshi" By N.Saryhanov. This film is a legend occupied a special place in the history of national cinema, made a triumphal procession through the screens of the world. The dominant feature films are the idea of the all-conquering power of art. Playing music in the film, which later became one of the most famous works of the outstanding composer Nury Khalmamedov is the best evidence of it.
He delegation members of our country in Bukhara are familiarized with the sightseeing of this city-museum; over 140 architectural monuments of the Middle Ages are located. The historic city center is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Such buildings as the mausoleum of the Samanids, which celebrated its millennium, Kosh Madras, Kalon Minaret and architectural complex Poee-Kalyan are the gems of historical and cultural reserve. With this cultural center of the Middle Ages are linked the names of many of the Turkmen scientists, thinkers and poets.
The closing ceremony of the forum and creative concert of the master of arts of Turkmen and Uzbek peoples took place in one of the new cultural centers of Bukhara. As stressed during the celebration, Days of Culture of Turkmenistan in the republic of Uzbekistan served as a powerful impetus for further exchange of educational values, the development of professional contacts, demonstrating how close our peoples and their desire to develop friendship and good neighborliness ties.
The participants addressed the words of gratitude to the leaders of the two countries for the development of humanitarian dialogue in the name of peace, friendship and prosperity to neighboring countries. Turkmen delegation thanked Uzbek friends for their warm welcome and the high level of the art forum.
